A working Gir cow farm in Fatehpur, Patna
Everything we sell comes from this one herd. No aggregation, no buying in from other farms, no middlemen between the cow and your door.
Vision and mission
The reasons the farm exists, and what we hold ourselves to.
Our vision
- A model of sustainable wellbeing, where what is good for the animal is good for the customer
- Promoting ethical farming practices, and proving they can work commercially
- Better health through tradition, using methods that predate industrial dairy
Our mission
- Healthy people and a healthier planet, one household at a time
- Quality delivered with compassion, never at the animal's expense
- Cared-for cows and satisfied customers, in that order
Four things we do not cut corners on
None of this is complicated. It is just slower and more expensive than the industrial alternative.
Hygiene
The cows are regularly sprayed with fresh neem to keep disease away. It is what farmers here have always done, and it works without putting chemicals near the animal.
Ayurvedic care
We use Ayurvedic herbs including Shatavari, Ashwagandha, Ajwain and Moringa powder. These support the herd's general condition rather than treating problems after they appear.
Organic feeding
Organic green fodder only, no synthetic feed, and clean water available throughout the day rather than at set times.
Open grazing
The herd roams freely in open space rather than being confined to a shed. No growth hormones are used, at any point.
Come and taste the result
Fresh A2 milk and hand-churned bilona ghee, delivered across Patna.
